Our Science
The Lee Lab studies how endolysosomal pathways maintain brain homeostasis.
We are particularly interested in how dysregulated organellar pH disrupts brain function and contributes to brain disorders during development and aging.
To address these questions, we combine molecular and cellular biology, advanced imaging, and animal models to uncover fundamental mechanisms of brain health and disease.
